The highly anticipated Mr. McMahon documentary was finally released last month, and wrestling fans have been watching it eagerly, as it sheds light on many aspects of Vince McMahon’s controversial life and career. In a related discussion, Jim Ross shared why he hasn’t watched the documentary yet.

The Netflix docuseries on Vince McMahon has created significant discussions about the former WWE chairman and his controversial actions during his time in power. The series delved into several sensitive issues, including Sable’s sexual harassment case, McMahon’s attempts to defend himself against past assault allegations and also him claiming his mind has several “computers” running at the same time.

On a recent episode of his podcast, Grilling JR, Jim Ross shared his thoughts on several topics, including the Netflix documentary about Vince McMahon. When asked about the documentary, Ross said he hasn’t fully watched it yet. While he’s read reviews and seen clips, he hasn’t watched an entire episode.

Ross explained that it’s not because he’s upset or avoiding it, but rather because he isn’t sure if he even has Netflix. If he does end up watching it, it would be the first Netflix show he’s ever seen. Ross mentioned that he’s heard good things about it and isn’t against watching it; he just isn’t very tech-savvy and prefers watching other things for now. However, he did say that he’ll probably end up watching it eventually.

“I have not invested. I’ve read some reviews; I’ve seen some clips. But to say I’ve watched an entire episode, I have not. And I’m not mad at it, I’m not boycotting it. It’s just that — you know, I’m not so sure I even get Netflix. If I watch this show on Netflix, it’ll be the first Netflix presentation that I’ve checked out. And I hear good things about it, I’m not angry. Just — you know, I’m not as technically friendly as a lot of guys, so I don’t put myself in that position. There’s plenty to watch on television other than that if I choose to now. Now will I someday break down so to speak and watch it? Without a doubt.”

Jim Ross was also puzzled by his exclusion in the documentary and WWE’s internal reaction to the documentary has also been revealed. Regardless, Ross will watch the documentary at his own leisure, and that’s all that matters in the end.
