Jim Ross made an unexpected trip to the emergency room on Thursday morning.
Ross wrote on Twitter that he was admitted in the ER in Norman, Oklahoma, where he maintains a home. He said the cause was shortness of breath, but declined to offer any other details about his condition.
“Unexpected trip to ER in Norman this morning,” Ross wrote on Twitter. “Shortness of the breath. That’s all for now.”
Jim Ross was initially scheduled to be at Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view event in Las Vegas this weekend. It’s currently unknown if those plans will stay intact. WrestleZone will update the situation as more information is learned.
