Jimmy Uso returned, and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns joined forces at WWE Bad Blood.
Rhodes’ long-running feud with The Bloodline continued at WWE Bad Blood. There, he teamed up with Reigns to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Reigns has set his sights on Sikoa and the new Bloodline since his return at WWE SummerSlam.
Ahead of the bout, both Rhodes and Reigns had special entrances.
The two teams battled back and forth. At a key point in the match, Rhodes side-stepped Fatu, who went crashing through the barricade. Fatu tossed some chairs out of anger, and Rhodes slammed him face-first onto the steel. The champion then hit Fatu with a Crossrhodes at ringside.
Rhodes laid Fatu out on the broadcast table, and he hit a diving splash that put the powerhouse through it. Back in the ring, Reigns and Sikoa traded shots.
Reigns took control, but Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa distracted him. Sikoa caught the distracted Reigns with a Spear for a two-count. A hooded individual showed up and attacked Tama Toga and Tonga Loa. The mystery man revealed himself to be Jimmy Uso, who had been sidelined since The Bloodline took him out in April. Reigns capitalized and hit a Spear for the win.
Uso then reunited with Reigns, and they hugged. Reigns stared down Rhodes, but he walked away. Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline attacked Rhodes, but Uso and Reigns made the save. Reigns picked up Cody’s title and looked at it. He reluctantly gave the title to Rhodes, who took it back.
The Rock then made his return to WWE for the first time since April. He was carrying his People’s Championship. Reigns, Rhodes, and Uso stared him down.
