JJ Watt Reacts to Thirst Tweets After Sharing Ripped Shirtless Photo

JJ Watt knew exactly what he was doing when he shared that hot shirtless pic!

Back in July, the 35-year-old retired NFL player bared his shredded body in a post-workout photo on X, formerly Twitter, in which he showed off his ripped six-pack abs while wearing only a pair of rolled up shorts and sneakers.

After he shared the photo, JJ was flooded with shocked comments, with fans writing comments like “Damn, that’s impressive… 🔥🔥🔥” and “Look like you out there working to be the new HE-MAN!”

Another fan joked, “Chill out dude my wife uses this app.”

In a new interview, JJ talked about why he shared the photo.

Keep reading to find out more…“You know, some days you’re feeling good and the lighting is good,” JJ told US Weekly. “Some days you’re proud. You’re retired and you’re like, ‘I still got it.’”

JJ, who retired from the NFL in 2022, went on to admit that he was surprised by how big of a reaction the photo got.

“It turned into something much bigger than I anticipated it would,” JJ said. “But that’s literally the only reason I’m working out now. I just want to look good and feel good because nobody cares anymore if I squat or bench 405 [pounds]. It doesn’t matter. I just want to look good now.”
