WWE WrestleMania 40 was particularly special for Joaquin Wilde.

Joaquin Wilde of the LWO had a WrestleMania moment as he took flight on Saturday night. He got involved in the match where Rey Mysterio and Andrade faced Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar. Wilde sparked plenty of buzz by soaring through the air onto Angel and Berto at ringside.

Wilde then took to Twitter to note that Saturday marked the seven-year anniversary of a near-death experience, as he almost died seven years ago to the day. He stated that he went from his deathbed to WrestleMania on the same date.

Didnt even realize it, but on this exact day 7 years ago is when i almost died after a match in Mexico City. Thought my wrestling career was ending that night. My life too.

Now its 7 years later and I just had a #WrestleMania moment! From my deathbed to Mania on the same date! https://t.co/2H0i3F56K7

Wilde was referring to the fractured colon he suffered during a match in Mexico in 2017. He was rushed to a local hospital, and he had to get surgery due to internal bleeding and damage to the colon.
