Joe Alonzo, Missa Kate Announce Departures From NWA

Two former champions announced that they had left the NWA.

Missa Kate announced that she had left NWA, and she thanked the company for her time there. Kate, a former NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champion, had been with the promotion for two years, and she had not competed there since January 2024.

Likewise, Joe Alonzo also announced his departure, as he noted that he was no longer, “Mr. NWA.” Alonzo said it was a fun ride, and he thanked NWA and Billy Corgan. Alonzi write that it was time to worry about Joe.

Alonzo is a former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, and he had been wrestling for the company since April 2022.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported that Kate’s exit was amicable, and TNA is interested in her.
