Say his name, and he appears; TNA World Champion Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
Hendry entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match, as he was the fifteenth competitor to join the match. He then squared off with several top stars, including Roman Reigns. Reigns went on to eliminate Hendry.
Hendry became the third TNA champion to compete in the Royal Rumble. Mickie James, the reigning Knockouts World Champion, competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble in 2022. Likewise, Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace was in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble.
Hendry was a key part of the crossover between NXT and TNA in 2024. He competed on NXT programming multiple times, and he challenged for the NXT Championship at NXT No Mercy.
