JoeBoy announces new record label, quits Empawa

Nigerian Singer, Joseph Akinwale popularly known as Joeboy, has launched his record label ”Young Legend”.

Joeboy, previously signed with EMPAWA, has now joined forces with Warner Music and introduced his label.

He announces this with an Instagram video accompanied by a caption that says “ Dawn of A New Era. Young legend4l is alive.”

Joey Akan, a music journalist, in his tweet, shares “Under the new Young Legend label, Joeboy will act as the CEO while Deola Jaiyesimi will serve as the Head of the Label, with the task of churning out the next set of Afrobeats superstars on a global stage. Joeboy follows in the footsteps of Olamide, Don Jazzy, and his former label boss, Mr.Eazi to create a pipeline to mint new artists.”
