Joey King Covers 'Grazia Italy' March Issue, Talks Working at a Young Age & How She Deals With Fear

Joey King flaunts her fashion-forward side on the cover of Grazia Italy‘s March 2025 issue and she opened up to the magazine about growing up in the entertainment industry.

The 25-year-old actress is wearing Max Mara throughout the shoot after being named the brand’s Face of the Future back in October.

Here’s what she shared with the mag:

On working at such a young age: “When you start so young, you grow up very quickly, because you are surrounded by adults who become your closest friends. But I feel lucky because, in some ways, I never felt like I couldn’t be a child: I was surrounded by very kind people who allowed me to do that. So my sense of responsibility grew quickly, but I lived my childhood and every age to the fullest. Getting into the entertainment industry at a young age and dealing with the people I met along the way taught me to take a position of leadership and to take it with grace and gratitude.”

On how she deals with fear: “There are people who have techniques and mechanisms that help them deal with certain things. Then there are those who deal with fear by putting their head down, just moving on, which is kind of what I do. I tend to throw myself into things more even if I’m afraid of them and they stress me out.”

On how she describes herself as a person: “I always joke that I’m an independent codependent person, but it’s the truth. I’m extremely independent and very sure of my choices and decisions. I’m absolutely self-sufficient in many areas of my life, but in others, I’ll be honest, I lean a lot emotionally and physically on some people and I don’t think that makes me a non-independent woman, on the contrary. I think there’s nothing wrong with leaning on someone in some situations.”
