John Cena was on his longest WWE run in over six years, as fans were just happy to see him on WWE television every week. That run more or less ended after Crown Jewel, but he isn’t done wrestling just yet. To add to that, Cena recently drew parallels between himself and vintage cars.

At the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia, John Cena faced Solo Sikoa in a match. Despite being systematically dismantled and brutally attacked by the young Samoan, Cena lost the match. Following the defeat, John Cena hinted at retirement.

While speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, John Cena was asked about the possibility of a time when fans wouldn’t be able to see him anymore. Cena made it clear that he simply getting older and can’t keep up with the younger talent.

I’ll be 47 in April, and the product is filled with superstars who are young, fast, and gifted. I’m just not as fast as I once was.”

The Leader of Cenation compared himself to a vintage classic car, needing a lengthy warm-up before hitting the last gear. Cena jokingly mentioned going for about 30 minutes, followed by the need for repairs due to unexpected issues.

I compare myself to like a fine vintage classic car. So if you want to take it out one day, you got to warm it up for about two and a half hours, then you can take it out and you can hit the last gear, but please don’t pin it to red line. I can go for about 30 minutes. Then after you drive for 30 minutes, you got to take it back in the shop and fix all the noises it was making. I’m leaking fluids from places I didn’t know I had places. So it’s pretty rough around the edges.”

John Cena also revealed the ideal spot for his final WWE match. Cena hasn’t been seen since WWE Crown Jewel last year, so we will have to wait and see when he will make his triumphant comeback to WWE television.
