John Cena Teams With MET-Rx To Launch ‘MET-Rx Flex’ TikTok Filter

WWE Superstar John Cena has teamed with MET-Rx to create a new TikTok filter.

He has teamed up with the company to promote its latest “Big 100” protein bar in its recently announced marketing campaign.

This new CapCut filter for TikTok was “created” by John Cena to “celebrate your biggest wins”. It takes the original flexing arm emoji and makes it bigger, strong and with lots of firepower. It is part of Cena’s new partnership with the company, and uses a “campy, 90s-inspured aesthetic” to help market the company.

The new flexed bicep filter was inspired by Cena’s own “swole physique”. It will be available for users to try out over the summer, with John Cena responding to some of his favorite “Flexes”.

In the video promoting the new CapCup filter for TikTok, John Cena says:

“You know, the world needs a new way to flex. And I’ve teamed with MET-Rx to make t happen. You deserve a flex as awe-inspiring as your achievements. This current flex emoji? It’s an L with a lump. So, I created the MET-Rx Flex. The MET-Rx Flex is designed to celebrate your biggest wins. Your biggest achievements. John Cena: MET-Rx Is Giving Fans A New Way To Flex

In the official press release, John Cena said that the “tired old” flex emoji needed updating. That is exactly what MET-Rx is doing.

“While people keep accomplishing amazing things – the tired old flex emoji hasn’t evolved a pixel since 2010. The world has earned a new way to flex.” Cena said, “And we’re giving it to them with a super-charged MET-Rx Flex filter on TikTok,”

VP, Marking and Inoovation at MET-Rx parent 1440 Foods, Amie Testerman, claimed that the new marketing campaign will inspire people to celebrate and share their success. That is their goal with the new campaign, with the WWE legend seemingly the man to do that.
