John Cena is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 and will make history in the process.
Even if Cena leaves WrestleMania without his 17th World Championship, he’ll still make history later this month at the Showcase of the Immortals.
On April 20, John Cena will become the first WWE Superstar to challenge for a championship at ten different WrestleMania events.
These ten WrestleMania matches include:
WrestleMania 20: Cena challenged Big Show for the United States Championship WrestleMania 21: Cena challenged JBL for the WWE Championship WrestleMania 24: Cena challenged Randy Orton and Triple H for the WWE Championship WrestleMania 25: Cena challenged Edge and Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship WrestleMania 26: Cena challenged Batista for the WWE Championship WrestleMania 27: Cena challenged The Miz for the WWE Championship WrestleMania 29: Cena challenged the Rock for the WWE Championship WrestleMania 31: Cena challenged Rusev for the United States Championship WrestleMania 39: Cena challenged Austin Theory for the United States Championship WrestleMania 41: Cena will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE ChampionshipDespite his illustrious WWE career, Cena only walked into WrestleMania as champion two times.
