The world premiere of Simon Rich‘s All In: Comedy About Love will launch a limited Broadway run this December with a rotating cast to include John Mulaney in his first Broadway production since 2016’s Oh, Hello.

The new Rich play will reteam Mulaney with his Oh, Hello director Alex Timbers. Mulaney will lead the show’s cast for the first five weeks and be joined by Fred Armisen, Renée Elise Goldsberry (December 11-30), Chloe Fineman (January 2-12), and Richard Kind.

The play will be performed by a rotating cast of four actors in 10 weeks. Additional casting through the rest of the run will be announced soon.

All In begins performances on Wednesday, December 11 at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre. The show is produced by Seaview and Lorne Michaels with New Yorker Studios.

Based on short stories written by Rich for The New Yorker, All In is, as the synopsis states, “performed by a rotating cast of some of the funniest people on the planet. Sometimes they will play pirates, sometimes they will play dogs, and there’s one where we make them talk in British accents. But even though the show’s kind of all over the place, it’s meant to tell one simple story: that the most important part of life is who we share it with. We hope everybody will relate to it, even if it was their date’s idea to come and they are starting out from a place of quiet resentment.”

The production will mark the fourth Mulaney-Timbers collaboration. In addition to Broadway’s Oh, Hello, which co-starred Nick Kroll, Timbers directed Mulaney in the comedy specials Kid Gorgeous and Baby J. From 2008 to 2011, Rich and Mulaney worked together as writers on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

In addition to Seaview and Michaels, the producing team of will include Micah Frank and Caroline Maroney producing on behalf of Broadway Video.
