John Textor is a businessman in demand. With his company Eagle, the American is involved in the sporting life of Botafogo, Molenbeek, Crystal Palace and OL to different degrees. Although he has full powers between Rhône and Saône, the businessman does not have decision-making power with the London club. A tense situation for the person concerned who, for several months, has been trying to get rid of the 45% shareholding he has in the residents of Selhurst Park.
And after months of searching, Textor finally seems to have found a buyer. Indeed, according to the information from The Athletica group of shareholders from Saudi Arabia and the United States signed an exclusivity agreement to buy Eagle’s shares from Crystal Palace. NBA legend and current Dallas Mavericks coach Jason Kidd is among this shareholder. An operation which could also allow OL to replenish the funds in order to avoid the sanctions imposed by the DNCG a few months ago.
