Actor Keanu Reeves is all set to return as the legendary hitman in the fifth installment of John Wick. He has treated fans with the announcement of his much-awaited films. The next installment of the popular franchise was confirmed on Tuesday, April 1, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Keanu Reeves Announces John Wick 5
The film’s fifth part is confirmed by Lionsgate, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Keanu Reeves will reunite with director Chad Stahelski for John Wick: Chapter 5. The action thriller is being developed in association with producer-star Keanu Reeves, director-producer Chad Stahelski, and producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee of Thunder Road.
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson said, “Keanu, Chad, Basil, and Erica would not return unless they had something truly phenomenal and fresh to say with these characters and this world. We can’t wait for audiences to see where the journey takes us next.”
John Wick: Chapter 4 was released in 2023 and had a massive earning of Rs 440 million dollars worldwide. The film concluded with Ian McShane’s Winston and Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King standing at a grave bearing John Wick’s name.
