Joker: Folie a Deux is not a hit with critics or with audiences. The movie has been panned by critics and currently holds a 32% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, it has been revealed that the film has earned the lowest CinemaScore grade for any comic book movie in history. The 2015 adaptation of Fantastic Four had previously held the record for the worst CinemaScore grade for a comic book movie with a C-. Joker: Folie a Deux earned lower scores than the recent box office bombs Megalopolis and Borderlands, which both earned D+ grades from CinemaScore. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Joker 2 was originally on track to earn $70 million in its opening weekend, but now it’s expected to earn less than $50 million for its first three days.
