 Folie a Deux' Earns Worst CinemaScore Grade Ever for a Comic Book Movie

Joker: Folie a Deux is not a hit with critics or with audiences.

The movie has been panned by critics and currently holds a 32% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, it has been revealed that the film has earned the lowest CinemaScore grade for any comic book movie in history.

CinemaScore, a company that polls audiences on opening night, reports that Joker 2 has earned a “D” grade from fans.

The 2015 adaptation of Fantastic Four had previously held the record for the worst CinemaScore grade for a comic book movie with a C-.

Joker: Folie a Deux earned lower scores than the recent box office bombs Megalopolis and Borderlands, which both earned D+ grades from CinemaScore.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Joker 2 was originally on track to earn $70 million in its opening weekend, but now it’s expected to earn less than $50 million for its first three days.
