Jon Moxley talks comic books.

Jon Moxley’s comic book fandom was on display at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18, as he wore gear that was inspired by The Red Hood. Moxley previously said that he started reading a lot of comics after he went to rehab.

In an interview with ComicBook.com‘s Christian Hoffer, Jon Moxley was asked what comics he likes to read.

“I would say I like all the Bat Universe, probably the most of the general mainstream superhero types,” Jon Moxley said. “If I had to pick, I like DC probably better than Marvel, but really it’s probably just for the Bat-related characters and everything that spawns off of that. If you took away Batman and anybody related to Batman, I don’t know that I would like DC that much at all.”

Jon Moxley: The Joker Is Becoming Batman’s Fault

Jon Moxley then shared his thoughts on various Batman characters. He also highlighted how someone like the Joker could not be handled the same way as other criminals. The AEW star noted that, in some ways, Batman was the problem, as he failed to stop the Joker.

“[The Red Hood] is probably my favorite because he just makes the most sense,” Jon Moxley said. “Even though he’s nuts and he goes a little overboard sometimes, he’s very much of the opinion that why don’t we just kill the bad guys instead of just putting them in jail.”

“At some point you’re looking at Batman like, ‘Dude, you’re really, it’s becoming your fault,” Moxley said. “You know what I mean? You’re the problem here.”
