The stars of the previous Bridgerton season are back together to celebrate the upcoming premiere of the new season! Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley reunited on the red carpet at the season three premiere of Bridgerton on Monday night (May 13) at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City. The former leads of the Netflix series have passed the torch to new leads Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan, whose characters are the focus of season three. In a new interview, Jonathan talked about how he wasn’t a heartthrob before Bridgerton. “I definitely wasn’t. It’s Bridgerton, I think. These characters have been created to serve a purpose, to turn people on, I suppose,” he told The Guardian. Season three of Bridgerton will be split into two separate parts. Part 1 (consisting of four episodes) will be released on on Netflix on May 16 and the final four episodes will stream on June 13. You can watch the trailer here.
