His other credits include local series Amar es para siempre (To Love is Forever) and Servir y protege (Serve and Protect).
In an Instagram post, Spanish actress and singer Lolita Flores said: “How hard it is for me to accept that you’re gone, without even knowing you … Life is so unfair sometimes. You’re handsome on the outside and on the inside.”
Actress Luisa Martín wrote on social media: “It breaks my heart to think I’ll never hear your voice again, but I’ll keep talking to you. Love you endlessly, José.”
De la Torre was survived by his parents, Antonio de la Torre Hidalgo and Maria Jose Delgado Espejo, and his sister Marina.
