One of the most popular independent wrestling events is Game Changer Wrestling’s Bloodsport Wrestling event. The first-ever Bloodsport event took place back in 2018. It was called Matt Riddle’s Bloodsport. Since then, 13 more Bloodsport events have taken place. They have all been under Josh Barnett’s name. The next event will be taking place on April 17th at the Pearl Concert Theatre in Paradise, Nevada.
Recently, a fan took to Twitter to ask Josh Barnett about the possibility of there being an exclusive championship dedicated to Bloodsport. Barnett replied by stating that there would be issues with having a wrestler holding a Bloodsport title. The MMA fighter shared that the championship should be held by someone who can guarantee that they will return to the promotion. Barnett also shared that this can’t possible without an official contract and providing a capital.
“It’s not really possible without the capability of ensuring returning athletes via contracts and capital. Having a wrestler win your belt just to be picked up by a major totally upsets that. There’s other reasons as well but that’s a big enough hurdle itself,” Josh Barnett tweeted.

After Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII event, the next one will take place on September 28th in London, England.
Bloodsport XIII has a heavy WWE influence, as Natalya and Karrion Kross are two of the many WWE Superstars who will fight in Las Vegas.
