Josh Duhamel and wife Audra Mari welcome first baby together, his second

Josh Duhamel is starting his second round of fatherhood.

The actor’s wife, Audra Mari, gave birth to the couple’s first baby — a son — together on Jan. 11, 2024.

The couple released a joint statement on Instagram Tuesday, where they revealed they had named him, “Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel.”

Along with the announcement was a photo where only the baby’s feet could be seen.

Duhamel, 51, is also the father of a 10-year-old son named Axl with his ex-wife, Fergie.

The preteen had an emotional reaction to Mari’s pregnancy news.

“He [was] like, ‘Wait, now, am I going to be — you’re still going to love me, though, too, right?’” Duhamel recalled in a September 2023 interview with Parade.

“And … he [was] like, ‘I’m still going to be your firstborn son, though, right?’” the “Safe Haven” star continued, noting that Axl “loves babies.”

Duhamel gushed, “I think he’s going to be a great older brother.”

The “Las Vegas” alum and Mari went public with their pregnancy in September 2023, posting ultrasound photos via Instagram.

“Baby Duhamel coming soon,” the couple captioned their joint reveal.

Fergie, 48, commented on the social media upload at the time, writing, “I am truly happy for you guys. Axl can’t wait to be a big brother.”

The former Black Eyed Peas member split from Duhamel in 2017 after eight years of marriage, with the exes finalizing their divorce in 2019.

Duhamel began publicly dating Mari in 2019 and got down on one knee three years later.

The pair walked down the aisle in a North Dakota ceremony in September 2022, which the groom called an “amazing day” via Instagram.

“Here’s to never letting your beer get warm, because I’ll always finish it for you,” he wrote of the wedding. “Cheers to forever.”
