Manchester United are seemingly keen on sanctioning Jadon Sancho’s exit as quickly as possible in order to put the funds they recuperate to good use across the window.

As it stands, they’re struggling in their attempts to shift the winger.

Fresh reports out of Italy this morning claimed that Juventus, while interested in signing Sancho, can only facilitate a loan move, which doesn’t really benefit United in any way. An unnamed Premier League club is also said to be interested, as well as a La Liga side.

The latter claim falls in line with Barcelona expert Shay Lugassi’s update this afternoon. He has revealed that Sancho ‘has been offered’ to the Blaugrana and other clubs in recent days, with United setting their price tag at €45 million (£38m) should any teams take them up on their proposal.

Jadon Sancho has been offered to Barcelona and another clubs in recent days. Man United want around €45M for the player. Barcelona currently prefers other options and the player is not on the high list. @BarcaTimes #FCB 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 pic.twitter.com/litlgebYHe

Barcelona uninterested in signing Sancho

Alas, a move to Catalonia is highly unlikely, as Lugassi adds that Barcelona are targeting other attackers and have not ranked the 24-year-old as a priority.

You’d imagine that his eye-watering wages of £250,000 per week – the fourth-highest on the books at Old Trafford – are proving quite the stumbling block for United in negotiations.
