Despite reconciling with Erik ten Hag at the beginning of July, Jadon Sancho could still complete a permanent move away from Old Trafford before the window closes.

Given that he’s not a guaranteed starter in his fourth Manchester United season, the club could certainly put any funds they raise to better use by sanctioning his exit in the coming weeks.

The likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and now even Amad Diallo all rank ahead of the 24-year-old, who has done very little to warrant a place in the starting 11 since his £73 million move from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.

Yet, interested sides are still adamant that there’s a prolific player in there. Dharmesh Sheth revealed today that he’s been ‘told a number of European clubs’ are now ‘exploring’ a deal for Sancho; he is ‘one to watch’ in the final days of the window.

Sancho’s uncertain United future

Paris Saint-Germain have put their interest on ice after welcoming Desire Doue to the Parc des Princes, while other interested outfits – Borussia Dortmund and Juventus – would struggle to meet United’s £40m asking price.

Chelsea are also said to be in the mix; an update from The Athletic this morning claimed that senior United figures felt a ‘sense’ that their Premier League rivals could step up their efforts to sign Sancho prior to the August 30 deadline.
