Fans of Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan are excited to see both actors lock horns in YRF Spy Universe’s next offering, War 2. While the excitement to see the two stars clash in the Ayan Mukerji-directed spy-thriller is sure to only increase in the next couple of months, we’ve now come across a piece of not-so-happy news from the film’s set in Mumbai. As per reports, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr – aka Jr NTR, has sustained a hand injury while shooting the film. Read on for details.
Jr NTR injured on War 2 sets
As per a recent Danik Bhasker report, Jr NTR was recently injured on the sets of War. The report adds that Tarak injured his hands while prepping for an action scene. The report also states that the ‘RRR’ actor has been advised to rest for two months.
As a result of this injury, the Mumbai schedule of War 2 has been postponed. Reportedly, the scene with Jr NTR will now be shot once he’s recovered in October. The article further noted that the actor will shoot for his entry scene after recovery. This shoot will take place on a ship. The set for the same has been put up in Yash Raj Studios.
The article also noted that a 15-day schedule of War 2 will be shot in Italy with the other two principal actors of the film – Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. According to the report, a song will be shot with the two actors there in September.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. The film – which will mark Rama Rao Jr’s debut in Hindi cinema is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 14.
