Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho is gearing up for one of the most significant games in his career to date: the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
Indeed, Borussia Dortmund lock horns with the 14-time champions this Saturday at Wembley, after which Sancho will officially be a United player again until a decision is made on his future.
Given Madrid’s illustrious and, quite frankly, unprecedented history in Europe, they are, of course, the major favourites to get their hands on the trophy in London. The United faithful were pleased to see them progress, too, as it meant knocking out arch-rivals Manchester City along the way.
When the two sides take to the turf on Saturday night, Sancho – and several others in black and yellow – will reunite with former Dortmund teammate Jude Bellingham, whose career trajectory has only continued on its upward trajectory since he departed the Signal Iduna Park last summer.

Sancho touched base with Bellingham before CL reunion
The Los Blancos talisman revealed in a recent interview with club media that he’d briefly spoken with Sancho after both sides booked their place in the final.
“[I’ve] not been speaking with any of them [Dortmund players] this week,” Bellingham said. “When we first went through, I got a little message from Jadon. So I spoke with Sancho. Just saying: ‘I’ll see you there’ and all those kinds of things.
“Jadon’s always been someone who’s taken me under his wing when I first arrived at Dortmund. He’s a really good guy. He’s helped me a lot.”
