It also came just a couple hours after his younger brother Jobe scored his latest strike for Sunderland, with the teenager curling in an excellent shot in their 3-1 win against Plymouth Argyle.
Back in Spain, Madrid's win sees them hold a five-point lead at the top of the table over Girona, who have been this season's surprise package.
Bellingham has also surpassed opposition star Artem Dovbyk in the scoring ranks, with his first goal arguably one of the best in his Madrid catalogue.
Whilst he enjoyed another fine performance, his was substituted off just before the hour mark with an apparent injury having gone down twice in the game and looked uneasy as he went off the pitch.
