Jude Bellingham says he is ‘at a loss for words’ over Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Junior, but hopes he will have a similar effect on his Real Madrid partners.

Great expectations have been placed on Madrid now that the English, French and Brazilian stars are playing together for the reigning European and Spanish champions. Real’s big names have been criticized for disappointing performances this season, but they continue to surprise Bellingham.

Interviewed during an Instagram Q&A with Versus, Bellingham spoke highly of Vinicius and Mbappé: “It took some getting used to, but now you see them as normal people. During the first few weeks, I had to remind myself that I’m here to play with them for a reason, because I earned it. But sometimes they do things that leave me a little speechless, and I’d like to think they feel the same way when they see some of the things I can do on the field too.”

Admiring Bellingham

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is yet to score in his eight appearances for Real this season, earning him widespread criticism from the Spanish media. Despite the presence of Bellingham, Mbappé and Vinicius, Real have already dropped points three times in La Liga, putting them three points behind Barca, and also suffered a surprise defeat at Lille in the Champions League.

Real will return to La Liga on Saturday against Celta. Three days later, he will face Bellingham’s former team, Borussia Dortmund, in the Champions League.
