FC Barcelona defender Jules Kounde has been spotted at the club’s training facilities, just days after leaving Euro 2024.

Koundé’s France team was eliminated by Spain in the semi-finals of Euro 2024. The right-back is one of the players who benefited from an extended summer break.

However, while he was expected to go on holiday, Mundo Deportivo spotted him today at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Koundé must rest

New Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has put his available players through their paces in the first two days of pre-season before flying to the United States at the end of the month.

The Frenchman has made a habit of returning to club training earlier than expected, but Flick will likely encourage him to take a break. FC Barcelona’s pre-season tour of North America will begin on July 31 in Orlando against Premier League champions Manchester City, followed by games with Real Madrid and AC Milan. The La Liga season will begin on August 17 at Valencia.
