Julia Hart puts things in perspective.
Hart is set to make her in-ring return at AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen on Wednesday night. She will compete against Jamie Hayter, who she has been taunting for weeks in anticipation of her return to television. Hart spoke with Lauren Coates for Variety about her in-ring return and some of the inspirations for her character, the ‘Princess of the Black Throne.’
The name is inspired by the House Of Black’s alternate name, Kings of the Black Throne, but Hart put some thought into why she isn’t known as the group’s Queen.
“I call myself the ‘Princess of the Black Throne’ instead of the ‘Queen’ because I feel like princesses are more naive,” Hart explained. “I still have a lot to learn, I still have so much more to go. I’m just a couple years into wrestling. Learning more in-ring wise, and figuring out people’s brains better, because I love to be the keeper of secrets. Figuring people out, figuring out their weaknesses, how to tear them down and beat them.”
Julia Hart also commented on her match with Hayter, who also just had her own in-ring comeback from injury.
“She just had a great comeback, so I gotta show my comeback is gonna be better than hers. Taking out the locker room one by one, and sorry, Jamie, you’re first.”
AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen will air live via simulcast on TBS and Max from the Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Rated FTR will also be in action against Jon Moxley’s Deathriders on the broadcast.
