Liverpool fans are starting the Jurgen Klopp farewell tour and that means only one song will be sung on the Kop for the rest of the season.

The German boss is a divine figure on the Red side of Merseyside having ended the club's 30-year league title drought in 2020.

But the good times won't last forever, with Klopp stunning the sporting world by revealing he will step down at the end of the 2023/24 season.

There are still plenty of games left for him to say goodbye and the only way the fans know how is to chant his own dedicated anthem from the Kop.

But how does the song go? Well, to the tune of the Beatles’ ‘I Feel Fine’, the lyrics are:

“I'm so glad that Jurgen is a Red.

“I'm so glad he delivered what he said.

“Jurgen said to me, you know. We'll win the Premier League, you know. He said so.

“I'm in love with him and I feel fine.

“I'm so glad that Jurgen is a Red.

“I'm so glad he delivered what he said.

“Jurgen said to me, you know. We'll win the Premier League, you know. He said so.

“I'm in love with him and I feel fine.”

Klopp's song first gained mainstream attention during Liverpool's Champions League trip to Lisbon to take on Benfica in April 2022.

But it was the club's emphatic 4-0 win over rivals Manchester United later that month that the anthem became undeniable.

And Klopp himself has reacted to it, telling Sky Sports: "I love the song! I really love it - I can't get it out [of my head].

"My boys love it. It's a Beatles song - it's an honour. The players sang it on the bus for for Joel! It's a cool one."

Klopp added: "I think we sing it a 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 bit too much, but it's an honour."

Klopp has since told Liverpool fans that he only wants the song sung towards the end of games so support is directed to the players.

Not much chance of that happening now though...
