Chris Jericho is a man of many faces. He is a wrestler, is a lead singer for the band Fozzy, he runs a podcast, and he occasionally tries acting as well. One of his unique ideas was to have wrestling matches in the middle of the ocean. It was the Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager Cruise. It was a blend of rock & roll music and professional wrestling.
Recently, wrestling legend Jushin Thunder Liger revealed that he refused to take part in the upcoming Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager Cruise. Liger, along with professional wrestling manager veteran Sonny Onoo, was a guest on the Grue Rume Show. During the interview, Onoo mentioned that Liger was asked to wrestle at the next Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager.
“They asked him to have a match. You know that, right? They asked him to have a wrestling match on a cruise,” Sonny Onoo said. [H/T POST Wrestling]
Jushin Thunder Liger responded by mentioning that he was too old to wrestle. It is to be noted that Liger officially retired from professional wrestling back in 2020.
“I’m too old,” Jushin Thunder Liger said.
Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager is set to commence on January 31st, 2025. It will be a five-day event and will end on the fourth of February. While Liger will not be wrestling on the cruise, he will still be present as one of the Guests of Honor.
