With under a week left before FC Barcelona take on Sevilla in La Liga, it appears that Hansi Flick & co. are all set for multiple injury boosts.

The Blaugrana face off against Sevilla on Sunday and are expected to welcome back the injured duo of Gavi and Dani Olmo for the game.

But there is likely to be another return on the cards for the Blaugrana when they lock horns with the Andalusian outfit.

Ferran Torres back in training

Indeed, according to a report from Toni Juanmarti, Barcelona young midfielder Fermin Lopez has returned to group training today after having recovered from his injury.

Fermin has been out of action for more than a month now, having initially suffered an injury while away with the Spanish Under-21 national team during last month’s international break.

The La Masia graduate recovered from the injury and resumed training only for him to suffer yet another thigh issue on the same day, sidelining him for an additional three-week period.

Now, it appears that Fermin has fully recovered from his issue and has started training with the rest of the group, which will come as a major boost for Hansi Flick & co.

After all, Barcelona have crucial fixtures coming up against the likes of Sevilla, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid in the space of one week and will need all hands on deck.

With Ferran Torres also out and Lamine Yamal’s fitness a concern, having Fermin Lopez back, along with the imminent returns of Gavi and Olmo provides Flick with a crucial boost.

Prior to his injury, Fermin, who has reached an agreement with the club over a new contract, had not played a great deal under Flick, having not done the pre-season due to his involvement at the Euros and the Olympics.

Now, having recovered from his physical problems, the young attacking midfielder will hope to establish himself as a regular in the team under the German tactician.
