“This follows the loss of eight players ahead of this week’s UEFA Nations League fixtures,” the team’s statement revealed, listing the missing players: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Levi Colwill, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Cole Palmer, Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice, and Bukayo Saka.
The reshaped 23-man squad will be heading to Greece for Thursday’s match before returning to Wembley for Sunday’s showdown against the Republic of Ireland.
