JUST IN: Google Puts Naira To Dollar At N1,247

The renowned search engine platform, Google, has updated the Naira/Dollar exchange rate to ₦1,247 to $1, marking the first instance in 2024 that the rate has fallen below 1,250.

Social commentator, Reno Omokri, shared his reaction to this development on his X account, stating, “Happening Right Now: Google lists Dollar to Naira as ₦1,247 to $1. This is the first time that Google has listed the Naira to Dollar exchange rate as under ₦1,250. #GrowNairaBuyNaija is working. And the more you and I continue patronising made-in-Nigeria goods and services, the more the Naira will increase in value.”
