On Friday morning, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle landed in Nigeria for a 72-hour tour.
Their arrival took place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport via a British Airways flight. Although their flight was delayed due to a pilot falling ill, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The Duchess of Sussex had flown into Heathrow the previous day to meet her husband at the airport’s VIP Windsor Suite. This marks the couple’s first visit to Nigeria together.
Upon arrival, they were escorted off the plane and into a waiting blacked-out minibus, while other travelers were held back.
