Controversial Nigerian singer, Darlington Okoye better known as Speed Darlington has been arrested.
TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that popular activist, Deji Adeyanju confirmed the musician’s arrest in a post via his Facebook page.
According to the Human rights lawyer, the Nigerian police arrested Darlington in Owerri, Imo State, on his return to Nigeria for a show.
However, the lawyer did not reason behind singer’s arrest remain unclear.
Adeyanju wrote, “Our client Speed Darlington a.k.a AKPI has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri at his show upon return to Nigeria.”
Recall that the Nigerian police detained Darlington over the alleged cyberstalking of his colleague, Damini Ogulu, more commonly known as Burna Boy.
