Justin Baldoni‘s lawyer is responding to Blake Lively‘s legal team’s latest legal request. To recap, the 37-year-old It Ends With Us star accused her co-star and director of sexual harassment and engaging in a smear campaign against her in December 2024. The New York Times published a story that featured text messages that Blake cited as evidence of Justin‘s bad behavior. However, Justin then filed his own suit, alleging the texts Blake‘s team published were not complete. He released what were allegedly the complete messages in a lawsuit against the Times in early January. Even more alleged text exchanges were included in a lawsuit targeting Blake and Ryan Reynolds. Earlier this month, Justin published a website that his legal team alleged had all of the necessary receipts for his face off against Blake. On Wednesday (February 12), Blake‘s team subpoenaed cell carriers including AT&T, T-Moble and Verizon for “all of the ‘receipts.’” Justin‘s lawyer Bryan Freedman released the following statement to JustJared.com on Thursday (February 13): “Subpoenas are an ordinary part of the litigation process. What is extraordinary is what the Lively Parties are seeking. They are asking for every single call, text, data log, and even real-time location information for the past 2.5 years, regardless of the sender, recipient, or subject matter. This massive fishing expedition demonstrates that they are desperately seeking any factual basis for their provably false claims. They will find none.” All the Major It Ends with Us Lawsuit Headlines:
