Justin Baldoni alluded to an “intense” year in an interview that was filmed ahead of his ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively. The 41-year-old It Ends With Us actor/director sat down for an interview for Gent’s Talk podcast in November 2024. The full interview will air on Monday (February 10) at 2pm ET. However, a teaser was shared in the leadup. In the preview for the interview, Justin was visibly emotional and addressed some struggles that he faced. Keep reading to find out more… “I had a intense year,” Justin announced in the teaser, which was shared on Instagram. Later on in the clip, he said that he “had anxiety,” adding, “I haven’t talked about this yet.” Justin had tears in his eyes as he spoke. However, the clip did not provide additional context. The interview was filmed in November. The following month, Blake accused him of sexual harassment and engaging in a smear campaign against her in a lawsuit. Justin responded by suing the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds in a defamation suit that was filed in January 2025. The Hollywood stars will both have their cases heard in a trial that begins in March 2026. However, they had their first hearing this week. During it, the judge made a threat to both parties. Justin issued his first public statement amid the dueling lawsuits last month.
