Justin Timberlake is postponing a show due to a recent injury.
The singer shared on social media ahead of a presentation in Newark, New Jersey, on Tuesday, October 8, as part of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, that he would be postponing the date.
“I’m so sorry to postpone tonight’s show. I have an injury that is preventing me from performing,” Timberlake shared on Instagram. “I’m so disappointed to not see you all – but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show ya’ll deserve.”
He added, “Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always.”
Timberlake didn’t disclose details about the injury that prevented him from performing at the Prudential Center on Wednesday, October 8.
A message on Prudential Center’s website confirms the show’s cancellation and notes that they are working with Timberlake to set up a new date.
“The Justin Timberlake event originally scheduled for October 8, 2024, has been postponed. We are working with the artist’s team on a rescheduled date that we hope to have information on as soon as possible,” reads the statement from Prudential Center.
The statement continued, “Please follow both artist and venue social media accounts for updates and keep an eye on your inbox for updates from your original point of purchase. Hang on to your tickets – we’ll email you as soon as the status of your event changes or the new date is announced.”
Timberlake is scheduled to perform at the Wells Fargo Center on October 11 in Philadelphia.
Additionally, the former Nsync star is also set to make a stop on October 13 in DC’s Capital One Arena, followed by back-to-back appearances on October 17 and 18 in Toronto, Canada, at Scotiabank Arena.
Timberlake’s team has not advised if his injury would prevent any more dates from being postponed.
