Juventus targets Ronald Araujo

Absent from the field since the start of the season, Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo (25) only made a small appearance in the Copa del Rey for FC Barcelona. However, Juventus is positioning itself to recover it according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian club which lost Juan Cabal and especially Bremer to injury until the end of the season needs reinforcements.

On the David Hancko (Feyenoord) and Antonio Silva (Benfica) files, the transalpine club is also trying its luck for Ronald Araujo and sports director Cristiano Giuntoli has taken information. The latter, who received the approval of Thiago Motta, is currently studying the feasibility of the operation. If FC Barcelona agrees to a loan with an option to purchase, the file could accelerate.
