Ajay Devgn and Kajol will both be stepping into the shoes of police officers. Their respective projects are Singham Again and Do Patti. Fans of the star couple are in for a treat as they will see the husband-and-wife duo donning cop avatars. During the trailer launch, Kajol referred to herself as ‘Asli Singham’ meaning the real Singham.
Kajol playfully calls herself Asli Singham
At the trailer launch of Do Patti in Mumbai on Monday, Kajol was in a playful mood, declaring herself the Asli Singham.“I have said it before and I’ll say it again—I’m the real Singham. I also did not take any tips from him [Ajay],” she joked, affirming her unique stance.
While discussing her experience in a cop uniform, Kajol shared, “When you wear a uniform on screen, there’s a certain stature that you feel. Even though you know you’re acting, you can feel a kind of passion and ‘kadakness’ in your posture that comes naturally. I enjoyed playing this role and would love to do it again.”
Kriti Sanon will be seen in a dual role in the film. Expressing her enthusiasm about the project, “Do Patti is incredibly special to me, not just because it’s my first film as a producer, but also because it allowed me to explore my duality on-screen. This film has been like my baby; Kanika and I have nurtured it from the start, especially in our roles as producers. It’s fulfilling to see this journey through with Netflix. The film also carries a poignant message, which is why I chose to produce it as my first project, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”
