Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has expressed his complete confidence in England international Harry Kane.

Despite a full season with 31 goals and 8 assists in 32 matches, Harry Kane is the subject of criticism due to the disappointing results of Bayern Munich. Rotten coach Thomas Tuchel was keen to defend his striker before receiving Lazio from Rome this Tuesday at the Allianz Arena in the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League.

The German praises Kane’s exemplary attitude: “There is not a single doubt about what Harry Kane is doing here and how he behaves. I think Harry has an impact on all the teams he plays for thanks to his way of being,” judged the former PSG coach at a press conference this Monday.

Tuchel 100% confident

“He’s not very talkative, he’s not loud in the dressing room, but the way he does things calmly, focused and full of confidence always has an effect, and always a very positive effect on our team,” he said.

Tuchel is convinced that the English striker will respond to pressure. “It’s a pleasure to have him. It’s a gift to be his coach. So I’m not worried about him at all and I’m sure he will be up to the task on Tuesday. This is what he does when there is pressure, and we can count on him 100%,” he said.
