As per the most recent media reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has told the Bombay High Court that it would issue a certificate to Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency only if the producers made certain recommended cuts.

Written and directed by Kangana Ranaut, the upcoming biographical political drama stars the actress alongside Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles. Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, the film is slated for a theatrical release on the 6th of September 2024.
