Kano NUJ hails Senator Jibrin’s dedication to public service

The Leadership of the Correspondent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kano  State Chapter, has congratulated the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, on his conferment with the prestigious Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic honour.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement by the Chapel Chairman, Aminu Garko and issued to newsmen on Tuesday.

“This well-deserved recognition is a testament to Senator Jibrin’s exemplary leadership and contributions to the development of Nigeria.

“As a distinguished senator representing Kano North, you have demonstrated unwavering commitment to the welfare of not only your constituents, but the nation at large,” the statement said.

Garko noted that Senator Jibrin’s impressive political career spans over two decades, with notable achievements in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

“His expertise in accounting and financial management has been invaluable in shaping Nigeria’s budgetary processes.

“We commend Senator Jibrin’s dedication to public service and his role in promoting the interests of Kano State and Nigeria. This honour not only reflects his achievements but also brings pride to the people of Kano State,” the Chapel said.

The Chapel wished Senator Jibrin continued success in his endeavours and looked forward to his continued service to the nation.
