Kara Swisher‘s recently published Burn Book: A Tech Love Story, described as part memoir, part history, chronicling tech’s most powerful players, is in the works for the small screen.

Tomorrow Studios (Snowpiercer, Physical) has optioned the book for development as a television series, Swisher announced on her Pivot podcast Tuesday with co-host Scott Galloway. The project is in very early development as either a limited or regular series, a decision TBD, a studio spokesperson told Deadline.

On the podcast, Swisher mused who would play her in the series. She suggested Kristen Stewart, which was countered by Galloway, who suggested Anne Hathaway.

Swisher has covered the business of the internet since 1994. She has been a contributing editor at New York Magazine, host of the podcast On With Kara Swisher as well as co-host of the podcast Pivot. She co-founded Vox Media’s Recode, was an opinion writer for The New York Times, and has written for The Wall St. Journal, The Washington Post, the All Things Digital conference and online publication All Things D, among others. Before Burn Book, Swisher co-wrote with Lisa Dickey There Must Be a Pony In Here Somewhere and authored aol.com: How Steve Case Beat Bill Gates, Nailed the Netheads, and Made Millions in the War for the Web.
