Karan Johar recently took to social media to share a heartfelt birthday wish for his mom, Hiroo Johar, as she turned 82. The filmmaker posted touching photos from his childhood alongside an emotional caption. Celebrities including Neha Dhupia, Sanjay Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also joined in to wish Hiroo on her special day.
The filmmaker shared endearing pics on his social media with heartwarming caption. In the first photo, a young Karan hugged Hiroo as he lay on a bed. In the second picture, toddler Karan is seen in his mother’s arms. Sharing the photos, Karan captioned the post, “My mom turns 82 today… I only have gratitude in my heart to the universe for giving me the privilege of being born to her ….She grounds me everyday (‘they gave you an award??? Why??) she centres me (‘be grateful … it could go away some day’). She reprimands me chapter 1 (‘what are you wearing Karan???’) she reprimands me chapter 2 (‘you are always on the phone!!!!’) BUT she is my world, my galaxy and my big love story with and of life (red heart emojis) love you Mama (hug face emojis).”

Karan Johar upcoming projects
On the work front, Karan is backing several movies. After tiff, he has reconciled and collaborated with Kartik Aaryan for Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. The film will be directed by Sameer Vidwans. He is also producing Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday & Lakshya directed by Vivek Soni. He also has Dhadak 2 in his kitty. While he is also set to turn host for Amazon Prime reality series The Traitors. KJo is also venturing into Punjabi cinema with Akaal. The film is a collaboration between KJo’s Dharma Productions and Gippy Grewal’s Humble Motion Pictures.
