When asked about the number of properties she owns in Mumbai, Kareena humorously responded that she is ‘struggling’ and has to live in her husband Saif Ali Khan’s house in Bandra. The playful remark came after a question about her fees, highlighting her high earnings in the industry.
The interviewer noted that Kareena is among the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood, with producers confirming that she commands Rs 10 to 15 crores per film. This places her in a select group of actresses who earn such a substantial amount. Laughing at this revelation, Kareena expressed her satisfaction at being in the top league.

She said, “I hope so, I hope whatever you say is right. It’s not about my acting… The films I choose are not about money, that I am very clear about. It has never been about the money. If I like a role, I might do a film for less, it depends on my mood, it depends on what the film is, what the role is offering. I am at that stage where I think I can do whatever. If it is a big commercial film, then your figures are less (laughs).”
During the conversation, the interviewer asked how many apartments she owns in the building where the interview was taking place. Kareena revealed that it was her husband’s home, saying, “This is my husband’s house, we are sitting and doing this interview in that. See I am struggling,” she joked.
Kareena’s last appearance was in Crew, which released earlier this year. The film, also starring Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh, was a hit. She is now set to feature in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, sharing the screen with Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone, among others.
