One of the stars who made a name for herself in the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout tournament was Canadian wrestler Karmen Petrovic. This past Sunday night Petrovic had the opportunity to compete in front of her friends and family in the Countdown to NXT HeatWave show. She teamed up with fellow Canadian and daughter of Santino Marella, Arianna Grace to take on Jacy Jayne and Jasmine Nyx.
It was an evenly-matched contest for the most part. But in the end, thanks to some assistance from Grace, Petrovic managed to roll up Nyx and pick up the pinfall victory.
Following their victory, Karmen Petrovic took to Twitter to share her love and appreciation towards the fans. She reminded herself about how when she was a kid she was one of the fans sitting in the stands to watch sporting events. Now at the age of 29, she is competing in the same arena with thousands of people in attendance watching and cheering for her.

Thus, the 29-year-old star wanted to wrestle Grace in a one-on-one match. NXT General Manager Ava Raine made the match official and it will take place this Tuesday night on NXT.
