Kasey Palmer says 'it feels like things will never change' after being racially abused during a Championship fixture on Saturday.
The Coventry City star was playing at Hillsborough against Sheffield Wednesday in a match that they won 2-1 thanks to a brace from Ben Sheaf.

However it was an off-field incident which became the talking point with Palmer being on the receiving end of discriminatory abuse from a home supporter.
The forward reported the abuse to the referee, claiming that the fan had made monkey gestures towards him, leading to a lengthy stoppage in play.
The 27-year-old took to social media following the game, writing on Instagram: “Disappointed to even have to come on here and write this. Racism is a disgrace…it has no place in the world, let alone football.
“I’m black and proud and I am raising my three kids to be the exact same.
“I’ll be honest, it feel like things will never change, no matter how hard we try.
“Couple fans doing monkey chants don’t define a fan base – I appreciate all the love and support I’ve received.”
Both Coventry and Sheffield Wednesday have released statements stating that they condemn the abuse suffered by Palmer.
Owls owner Dejphon Chansiri wrote: We absolutely condemn the abuse reported by Kasey Palmer today and stand together with Coventry City in our clear stance that there is no place in football or society for such appalling behaviour.”

Coventry owner Doug King echoed those sentiments in support of his player, adding: "We completely condemn the abuse aimed at Kasey today and will support him following this incident.
"There is no place for this in football or society and support Sheffield Wednesday and the authorities in taking the strongest possible action.”
