Kate Middleton can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The Princess of Wales has “turned a corner” with her cancer treatment, according to a family friend.

“It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better,” the pal told Vanity Fair Tuesday.

The friend added that Middleton’s health battle has been “a very challenging and worrying time” for the royals, but her immediately family and husband, Prince William, have “rallied around her.”

The princess, 42, announced in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.

She did not disclose what kind of cancer she has but shared in her video message that the disease was still in its “early stages.”

Middleton’s last official public outing was in December 2023 for a Christmas church service.

Kensington Palace announced the following month that she had undergone a “planned abdominal surgery” and would be hospitalized for up to two weeks.

However, her prolonged absence from the spotlight ignited a slew of conspiracy theories about her health that were put to rest only once she shared her diagnosis with the world.

Prior to her announcement, the princess was spotted out and about just a few times.

The first sighting was in March when she was snapped sitting in the passenger seat of a black Audi SUV while her mother, Carole Middleton, drove near Windsor Castle.

She was later seen at a farmer’s market with William, 41.

A source recently shared that Kate has nothing on her calendar for the rest of the year.

“The key thing for her now is avoiding any kind of stress or anxiety and just getting on with the business of getting better,” the insider told the Daily Beast, adding that the couple will spend the summer at their countryside retreat, Amner Hall, with their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6.

While she is taking a break from work duties, Kate has continued to stay involved with her charity. An aide revealed the princess read a report issued by the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and had been briefed on its finding.

However, the palace stressed that did not mean Kate would be returning to work anytime soon.
